Personal Development 30 Day Challenge { Plus Printable}

There are many 30-day challenge ideas online. You can find a challenge on any subject. You can improve your personal development with 30-day challenges. It takes 30 days to form a new habit.

In this challenge, I want you to concentrate on improving yourself on the inside. When our hearts and souls are in line with one another, that is when the change starts happening.

I have made a calendar for you with the challenge on each day and a blank calendar that you can keep track of the challenge on.

Day 1

We are going to start off this challenge with gratitude. I want you to write down 10 things, places, and/or people you are grateful for. When writing down gratitude, puts you in a positive mood. Hard to be negative when you are writing down positive.

Day 2

Today I want you to write down your goals for the month. Doesn’t have to be anything big. This could be something small like completing this challenge is your monthly goal. You can also go big with your goals and organize your whole house. The sky is really the limit with your goals. Make sure they are SMART goals.

Day 3

Do something kind for somebody else. This could be opening a door for somebody or helping load or carry groceries. Pay for the person’s coffee behind you in line. Just do something that is kind towards another human being.

Day 4

Make a list of your personal values. Everyone has values in their life. What are yours? Here are some examples of personal values family, honesty, adventure, and many more. Values are what is important to you in your life

Day 5

Stop procrastinating. There is always something that we put off until later and later comes, and the task is still not done. Pick something today that you have been putting off and get it done. Not only will you be able to mark it off your to-do list, but you will feel happier once you have it done.

Day 6

Make a list of things you have been trying to control but not able to. Nobody will see this list, so write down everything you are trying to control. Then I want you to tear up the piece of paper once you make your list and release those things to your higher power. Get rid of them out of your mind and free yourself from that burden.

Day 7

Write down your personal mission statement. I know that sounds scary and like a lot. This doesn’t have to be scary. Who are you? What is your purpose in life? Here is mine for an example To help women regain their personal power through coaching.

Day 8

Write a letter to your younger self. What would you say to your teenage self or to your inner child? What is some advice you would give? I know to my younger self is don’t wish to grow up so fast.

Day 9

Pick a new positive habit to start daily. This could be big or small. I have many daily habits that I do here are some examples journal every morning, read one chapter out of my self-help book, pray every morning, and put lotion on my feet. It can be anything you think of just make sure it is a good habit to pick up.

Day 10

This one may sound weird at first but dating yourself. Take yourself out to eat, to a movie, or go for a walk. This is something you should do once a month. This is a great way to find yourself again.

Day 11

Make a vision board. This is a great way to be creative and to have something that shows what you want out of life. Make your board unique cut out pictures from magazines, take your own pictures and glue them, or draw what you want out of life. Really there is no wrong way on how to make your vision board.

Day 12

In the morning, say positive affirmations. Here is a couple for an example. “I accept myself for who I am”. “I am beautiful”. “I am blessed”. “I accept my body as it is”. You can make up your own. Just make sure it is positive.

Day 13

Read one chapter a day in a self-help book. This can be any book that is self-help. There are so many out there. My favorite book is by Mark Mason.

Day 14

Write a letter to a loved one. Doesn’t have to be a long letter. Just write what you love about this person.

Day 15

Organize one room in your house. Pick any room that needs to be picked up and organized. If you only have a room, then pick up an area of your bedroom.

Day 16

One day of no sugar. I know that sounds like a big task. However, see how much better you feel with one whole day of no sugar.

Day 17

Get off social media one hour before bed. I know that this is how a lot of you relax right before bed. Read a book instead. Letting your mind shut down before you go to sleep will help you sleep better.

Day 18

Start journaling. Having a journal has many benefits. One of the best benefits is it lets you get your thoughts off your mind and onto paper. This can help you solve problems or just to get a problem off your mind.

Day 19

Make the bed in the morning. After you wake up, go ahead and make the bed. This helps you get more done during the day because you have already completed a task for the day.

Day 20

Go outside and enjoy nature. There is nothing better than soaking up the sun for your mental health.

Day 21

Make time each day to do nothing. I know that sounds crazy because the world says that we have to be productive. It will help you be more productive if you take some time and do nothing.

Day 22

Be creative this could be your coloring, drawing, painting, scrapbooking, making cards, making jewelry. Just something that is creative.

Day 23

Write down 5 things you like about yourself. Yes, it has to be 5, and it needs to be positive.

Day 24

Use lotion all over your body. Not only will you feel pampered. You will have nice soft skin

Day 25

Make a morning routine. Helps you set up a schedule for your day. This can make your day run more smoothly.

Day 26

Take a long hot bath. This is a great way to relax. You can light candles and play soft music while you relax. You could take your self-help book and read it while in the bath.

Day 27

Tell someone you love them. This will help make someone’s day and help you feel good inside. Showing affection helps the mind with happiness.

Day 28

Drink water for the day. This will help you feel better and believe it or not you will have more energy.

Day 29

Watch the sunset or sunrise. Wake up early and go outside and see the wonder of the sunrise.

Day 30

Listen to your favorite song. Turn up your favorite song loud and sing along with the song.

In Closing

You did a great job, and you completed the 30-day challenge, you should be so proud of yourself. You don’t have to stop here. Furthermore, you can go back through them or pick one and do that for 30 days.
